Baptism

We were able to baptize the twins while we were home. We had to change the time of the baptism because the kids were so sick but it was fabulous! We baptized them at Northridge Lutheran in Kalispell. My Grandparents did a great job arranging the whole thing....even the change of events! They introduced us all to Pastor Dan who did an amazing job. My Grandpa Al was able to perform the baptism with Pastor Dan, making it very special for us. Especially since Grandpa is a twin! Here are a couple pictures of the special day.
The God Parents: Scott & Stef with Hayden; Kirk with Will. Ann was with Jack so he would not get RSV from the twins. We will celebrate with her later. Grandma Christine with Hayden

More Photos

Here are some more pictures with some family. We didn't get many pictures since the babies were so sick. Grandpa Mike also had a cold and stayed away from Will & Hayden most of the time. Grandma Christine took many of the pictures so she was behind, not in front of the camera. Next visit we will get many more pictures. Nana & Will

Trip to Montana!

Well, we survived our first trip on a plane with twins! The babies were wonderful on all the flights! Our trip home was quite eventful with the babies but not the way we wanted it. We were in urgent care with Will within 2 hours of landing. Will was diagnosed with RSV. We were hoping that Hayden would escape without it but she ended up with it a few days later. We ended up staying in at Mom's house almost the whole trip. We hardly did anything and we didn't get to see everyone we wanted to. But, in the end, the babies are getting better and that is what matters most. We are now home and I took today off to make sure they were better before heading back to daycare. They have both been fever free for 36 hours and we are on the mend. Here are a few pics from our trip.Scott, Stef, Tyler, Hayden & Will

5 Months and Counting

Our babies have passed 5 months old!!! I can't believe it! I was holding strong that we would wait and start them on rice cereal after our Montana trip but my kids changed my mind. They have made me believe that they are ready to try it. Last night Aric and I decided it was the night to start. It was hilarious!!! They both would open their mouths excited to try it and then have the most disgusted looks. They did eat a little bit but I don't think they like it very much!

We have also been waiting for Hayden to roll over. Will still has no interest in rolling over. He would prefer to reach out and grab things he needs and stay on his back. Hayden, on the other hand, thinks she needs to be on the go. Once she starts crawling and walking we are in trouble! Today I was off for Presidents' Day and I was enjoying a great day with the kids. Well, I put the kids down for a nap....on their backs of course. When I went to get them, Hayden was on her tummy! The stinker didn't even roll over the first time with anyone around. We are still very excited though!

We are enjoying every second of our lives with Will and Hayden! We are very excited to see you all in Montana in less than 2 weeks!!!! Yay! Will holding his teething ring with Daddy!

Hayden the Stinker.....

Hayden is quite the little stinker! She has begun to steal Will's toys! She did it the first time when Aunt Ann was watching her. Then, when we got home from Gering she did it again. We had them laying on the floor playing with new toys. Hayden would look at her pink elephant, look at Will's turquoise elephant, throw/drop her toy off to the side and take his. She did this a number of times. This is the best video I got. She also loves the camera so she just stares at it if she knows it is there. We sure are enjoying our little ones!

Play time

Will has learned he has a voice! His sister learned awhile ago that she can scream and she taught him. It is hilarious! They screech and then smile and giggle. Here is a video of them playing and talking in their exersaucers!

Our Lives....

Our life is pretty busy these days! Aric is still coaching wrestling so his weekends are pretty busy. He only has 2 more weeks and then he is done for the season. It has been a good season! Hopefully he takes a crew to state with him next week! Our home life is super busy too! The babies are so fun! When we get home from work we all lay on the floor and play. Then they spend some time in their exersaucers. They sure love to play with all the toys around the edges.

They will be 5 months old in a few days. I can't believe how fast time has flown by. It has been amazing! Aric and I tell each other daily how lucky we are and how great it is that we had two babies! I would not want it any other way! We would always be fighting over who go to hold the baby....now it is which one do you want??? We love being parents and love our kids and each other so very much! We are so lucky!

We are very excited to head up to Montana in a few weeks! The kids will be taking their first airplane ride. Hopefully it goes ok with two infants. Please pray for us! :) Hope to see many of you soon! Hanging out with Mommy....and holding hands!
