Here is their recent crawling adventure! It is hilarious! They are such great friends!

Will nuded up....he had a fever of 102 for about 4 days so he spent most of that time in his diaper. On one occasion I came into the room to find poo coming out of his diaper and Hayden trying to figure out what it was. I think I scared them by how fast I scooped Hayden up and cleaned her finger off. Yuck! Luckily I got to her before she put it in her mouth!

Our Little Peanut

Grandma Kathy was able to visit at the end of June. We had a fabulous time! We were able to take the kids to the pool a few times and then we stayed at the Watiki resort in Rapid City. They have a fabulous water park and the kids really enjoyed the water. We had such a nice time with Grandma Kathy. Then on July 18 the kids took swimming lessons for a week. Aric and I got in the water with the kids and they began their love affair with water. It was wonderful! Here are a few more of the youngsters!

Updates

We have had an incredibly busy summer! Last July (2010) our house was hit by a huge hail storm. We had quite a bit of damage so Aric has had to replace our roof and paint this summer. The roof has been on for a bit but the painting has brought on many other projects! Aric has discovered some things that were not done correctly so he is fixing up the house as he goes. He is doing AMAZING! I will post some pictures when we are done for the summer....probably a couple months yet. Anyway, we have been working fast and furious on the house and taking care of babies!

The kids are AMAZING too! They enjoy crawling around and playing with each other. They are such great friends! Hayden still steals Will's toys but now Will has started to steal them back. Kirk and Ann are in the process of moving to Chadron so the kids are getting more play time with Jack and loving it! Last night Jack was even letting the twins share his juice. It was very sweet! The kids are growing like crazy! They crawl very fast and pull up on everything! Will 'walks' himself down the couch and Hayden stands up and lets go of what she is holding so she can practice standing. She gets very proud of herself and giggles. Their favorite game is to crawl around the island in the kitchen, stop every few crawls, look at each other and giggle! Then they continue on their trip! It is great!

I am pretty sure we finally have a tooth from Will this morning! He has been working on them for a couple months at least! Hayden is working on teeth but we don't even see anything yet. They are 11 months on Monday so hopefully we get some soon. :) Here are a few pictures. I will try to get pictures up more often. Daddy, Will, Hayden & Harley before bedtime

Will in the Mornings!

I was able to capture Will and his usual wake-up attitude this morning. He is just like his Mommy when I was younger! It is hilarious! He wakes up first maybe once every 2 months. Every other morning we wake the kids up for daycare or Hayden wakes everyone up. :) Hayden is a dream in the morning! She wakes up talking to herself and playing in her crib. It is wonderful! Anyway, if you knew me when I was little, this will look familiar. If not, here is a little look into what my parents and brother went through every morning! :)

Laughing

Giggling kiddos....

Playing...

Here is a video of the kids playing. This is a usual occurrence at our house. They try everyday to see how much they can push the other. It is pretty entertaining!

And More....

I guess I have a few more updates. When we got home from Montana we tried to kick Will of his dependence on his pacifier. One night and he found his 2 fingers. Well, he never gave them up. I guess we have to deal with it now. Hayden is now army crawling. She scoots away and leaves Will sad. He wants to chase her but he hasn't quite figured it out. Soon! A couple days ago she scooted over to him, stole his toy and crawled away with it. I am guessing that payback is going to get her someday! Wrestle time!
Their new Northern shirts!

Adorable new hats from Grandma Christine and Grandpa Doug!

More Pictures.....

Here are some more of my favorites! Will giving me his loving smile!
Hayden and her newest trick....scrunching her nose!

Sorry it is sideways....I came home and Will was passed out in his Jumperoo. He would still bounce every now and again but he was out!

Hayden was sad that Arlo didn't want to play with her!

Hayden was having a rough day but she finally found peace in Daddy's arms!

Family Visits!

We also had some wonderful visitors in May! Sarah, Dad & Christine all came for Memorial Day Weekend. It was fantastic! The girls got some much needed relaxation while the guys (minus Will) got to go golfing! Sarah and I even had a movie date to see the Hanover 2. It was such a wonderful weekend! Will completely fell in love with Sarah! He lit up when she came in the room. Dad & Christine babysat one night so we could show Sarah what Chadron is all about. She happened to come to town on a busy weekend and was able to meet many of our friends. Dad & Christine were even able to give the kids their first double bath! Even though we mostly stayed home and did nothing, it was the best weekend!

So Sorry....

I am so sorry for not updating our blog! It has been a busy few weeks! We had more illness at the beginning of May. Both kids had pink eye and Will ended up with an ear infection too. It was a rough few weeks. Will couldn't sleep with the ear pain so the whole family (minus Hayden) was up for a few days/nights in a row. Since our kids are fabulous sleepers (and always have been) it was really hard to be awake all night. Anyway, we are all back to healthy now! We are going on 3 weeks of no doctors visits!!!! We do go in on Monday for their 9 month checkup! I can't believe how time is flying! We truly have the best babies ever! Here are some photos from May. I will add more and add more of our life story next..... Happy Will in his new pj's from Grandma Kathy & Grandpa Mike

Double Bath Time Fun!!!! They can sit up so well that they now take baths together. Grandma Christine and Grandpa Doug babysat while they were here and gave them their first joint bath! Yay!

Swimming!

Well, April is much better than March! Our kids are finally healthy! How wonderful! We got home this afternoon from Rapid....Aric got Lasik! He is doing fantastic with great vision already. We were able to go swimming this morning too. Aric couldn't go in the pool due to his surgery so he was the camera man. When we got home we quickly dyed eggs just in time for the Easter Bunny! Here are some of my most recent favorites! Trying to get the dyed eggs

One Long Month!

We have had a very long month! The kids are finally healthy after over a month of being pretty sick! It is great to have our healthy, happy babies back. We are keeping up with our usual schedule these days. We are about to head into a busy few months. We are going to have lots of company, house projects and hopefully some nice weather to enjoy.
The kids are still growing fast and learning to eat new foods. Will is really enjoying eating new foods. Hayden looks as though she thinks we are trying to poison her. Silly Hayden!!! A little peas never hurt anyone. Anyway, Hayden is still a crazy little devil that rolls over like crazy. Will is just about to roll over and will probably learn so he can roll away from her. She constantly rolls over to Will and takes his toys. Must be payback for him taking up all the comfortable space in my tummy. Here are the latest pics of the kiddos! In their Hawaiian attire from Grandma Kathy. We will have more photos when they actually fit in the clothes....as well as adorable Mexican outfits from Grandma Christine and Grandpa Doug. We tried to limit pacifier time Will so he has discovered his thumb and fingers! Plan....failed!
A little early morning crib time
Happy Boy getting ready to eat!
All smiles....ready to dodge the spoon! :)

Baptism

We were able to baptize the twins while we were home. We had to change the time of the baptism because the kids were so sick but it was fabulous! We baptized them at Northridge Lutheran in Kalispell. My Grandparents did a great job arranging the whole thing....even the change of events! They introduced us all to Pastor Dan who did an amazing job. My Grandpa Al was able to perform the baptism with Pastor Dan, making it very special for us. Especially since Grandpa is a twin! Here are a couple pictures of the special day.
The God Parents: Scott & Stef with Hayden; Kirk with Will. Ann was with Jack so he would not get RSV from the twins. We will celebrate with her later. Grandma Christine with Hayden

More Photos

Here are some more pictures with some family. We didn't get many pictures since the babies were so sick. Grandpa Mike also had a cold and stayed away from Will & Hayden most of the time. Grandma Christine took many of the pictures so she was behind, not in front of the camera. Next visit we will get many more pictures. Nana & Will
