Baby Update...

We had another ultrasound last week. The babies are doing great! Baby A (boy) was estimated to weigh 1 pound 11 ounces. Baby B (girl) was estimated to weigh 1 pound 9 ounces. They are both ahead of schedule as far as my due date is concerned. This is a huge relief since many twins are small. Hopefully they continue to grow at this pace and keep ahead/on schedule. Baby A even waved at us. It was very cute to see them becoming little people. They are both developing very well. I am 25 weeks today so they should be here in 12 weeks or so. My, how the time flies!
I also wanted to mention that it is a VERY HAPPY time in our house because the Lakers just won another championship! GO LAKERS!!!! And of course, I was wearing my jersey! What a good luck charm it is! I can't wait until next year when we can watch the game with the twins. I will have them in Laker clothes as soon as I can.....I will have to sneak it past Aric though. :)

Go Lakers!!!

This is always a fun time of year in our house! I LOVE the Lakers but Aric not so much. He was at football camp the other night so I was able to enjoy the win in peace. Yes....I do wear my jersey (Katie Joy #1 on the back) for the playoff games, as long as it helps them win. I decided to have him take a picture for all of you to share my Laker pride. This jersey used to be rather large but now is getting closer and closer to fitting!

23 weeks pregnant and cheering on the Lakers!!!

On our house projects note, Aric is still very busy painting and getting things ready. He recently laid beautiful tile in our entryway and painted the walls. I will take a picture when the upstairs living room is done....it is being painted now and then the furniture will be flip-flopped. I can't wait for everyone to come see the house improvements and babies!

Baby Room Painted!

Aric has been hard at work getting our house ready for the twins. He is doing all the fix-it projects he has wanted to do since we moved in. He finished painting the nursery this week. Three of the walls are a light latte color and the window wall is mudpie. We also rearranged the furniture so that Baby A's crib is away from the heater. We love it! It is snug but very comfortable and happy. We still need to straighten a little and will add more decorations later.

BOY & GIRL!!!!

We are having.....a BOY and a GIRL!!!! Baby A is boy and is very rowdy. He likes to move all over and kick at his little sister. Baby B is a girl and is a little more mellow. She still moves around a lot but she doesn't have as much room to move.
We had a fabulous weekend with Mom and Conk! Mom was able to go to our ultrasound to see the babies and hear the heartbeats. We also spent some time shopping for the little ones.....so fun! I can't wait to meet them!

We have decided to decorate the nursery in brown/blue and brown/pink. We will add different things for each baby. Grandma and Grandpa Rommereim sent a beautiful cross to bless the babies room. We will put it up as soon as the room is painted....hopefully soon.

Here are some updated pictures of my belly.

Belly at 19 weeks....it is really poking out and looking pregnant!

Prayer shawl from Grandma Helen. It is so beautiful and I love it so much!

Baby Room & Tummy!

Here are a couple pictures of the baby room. It is a little small for 2 cribs but it will work just fine. I can't wait to rock my little babies in the rocking recliner! I also included a picture of my belly at about 15 weeks. I am showing more than someone would with one baby....duh! I have to keep reminding myself of that! We are very excited and time can't seem to move quickly enough. We are anxiously awaiting May 7 which is when we will, hopefully, find out the sex of the babies!

Still trying to comprehend 2 cribs!!!!

Both cribs look just like this....full of fun stuff from Tim & Colette! Many, many thanks to Tim & Colette for all the adorable things! We were so excited that we left it all out so we can look at it everyday. We often go sit in the room and just look at the stuff!

My belly at about 15 weeks pregnant. It is starting to poke out!

First Ultrasound....TWINS!

Welcome to our Blog! We just found out we are having twins! They are due October 5 but will likely come 3 weeks before that. We are very excited and want to share our joy with you. Here are our first ultrasound pictures. The pictures are of Baby B, Baby A and both. Hope you enjoy!

They were very active during their ultrasound. They were very wiggly and all over the place! We were able to hear their very strong heartbeats too! It is very fun and exciting!
